Dark Heat Transfer Paper — Vibrant Prints on Dark Fabrics and Coated Mugs
Designed for dark cotton and blends, this paper features a built-in white carrier layer that blocks the underlying fabric color, keeping designs bright on black T-shirts. It also works on heat-transfer-coated mugs for versatile customization.
White Carrier Layer for True Color
Unlike light transfer paper, this features three layers: design, white carrier, and release backing. The white layer blocks dark fabric colors, carries the ink film, and ensures vivid, saturated results on black, navy, and deep-colored fabrics.
How to Use
Print design with a standard inkjet printer (do not mirror).
Trim closely around the outline to remove excess white border.
Place paper printed side face down onto the material.
Press at 165°C for 25 seconds with medium-high pressure.
Peel off backing sheet and let cool.
Temperature and Pressure
Optimal transfer: 165°C for 25 seconds with medium-high pressure. For fabrics, pre-press 3–5 seconds to remove moisture. For coated mugs, use a mug press with a silicone sleeve for even pressure.
Compatibility
Ideal for dark cotton T-shirts, canvas bags, cushions, aprons, and coated ceramic or stainless-steel mugs. Note: Mugs must have a heat-transfer coating. Uncoated ceramics, glass, plastics, melamine, double-wall tumblers, and cups with glued decorations are not suitable.
Care Instructions
Fabrics: Machine wash cold inside out on gentle cycle; avoid tumble drying. Mugs: Hand wash only; do not dishwasher or scrub with abrasive pads.
Specifications
A4 size, 150-180 gsm base. Compatible with most standard inkjet printers. Easy to store and handle for both one-off projects and batch production.
